The members of this year's Academic Team, which competes in the Greater Cincinnati Academic League, have been chosen. They are:

SENIORS: Tom Tiemeier, Mark Byrnes, Andy Smith, Adam Graham, Mike Neumann, Joe Kennedy and Dan Kernen

JUNIORS: Jon Herr, Brian Hiles, and Tom Maloney

SOPHOMORES: Chris Laake and Mike Merz

The GCAL consists of teams from Moeller, McAuley, Roger Bacon, McNicholas, St. Ursula, St. Xavier, Ursuline, La Salle, Purcell Marian, Oldenburg Academy, Badin and Elder.

Following the season, Andy Smith was named to the GCAL All-Star First Team by vote of the league coaches. Congratulations, Andy!
